Planning to head over next month for 4 days , just after what moon phase people have had more success on , lead up to full moon or week after or new moon ? The last couple of trips have been around the full and fishing has been ok unil 2 days either side of the full moon when everything seems to shut down

Full moon - 3 days either side
Have always done brilliantly (despite my extreme doubts the first time I went out there as it was almost like daylight under the clear sky and full moon) but the fish went mad yet I know others on here hate the full so each to their own but oddly the full is normally a three fish day on the solunar tables

hey Neil, personally I dont even look but Ive been twice for 3 days over these school holidays and done well, I think each side of the full moon.
Sharks were a bit of a problem last week but have a look thru my two reports, there was fish to be found and not that far from where I saw you over there, maybe 2 miles.

Cheers Scott, figured as much. Have been lucky enough to have a beer at a pub on one of the islands but figured that wouldn't be happening again either.
