When are you leaving Perth for the Exxy comp?

Just wondering which day and time you are leaving for Exxy? We will probably leave Gingers around 10PM on the 7th, we'll be on channel 40 UHF if you need a hand, we will be carring enough tools to do most emergency patch jobs.

driving straight through. We have to be in Coral Bay for 12pm Sat to meet the clebrant. Hopefully I can rush through this and book in for 2-30pm and maybe a quick maccie or two for dinner and to warm up

just do quick stops till brekky then back on the road , plan to get into exmouth earlier enough to set the boat and fishing gear up ready for early sunday morning

Yeah I was thinking of 95 as the cruiser starts downing the juice like its happy hour after the 100 mark.
What time are you leaving.
Check in is not until 2-30pm is this right.

thats right unless there is no one in there the night before they will let you in early, last time i spoke to them we were ok to check in early, but that could change, we should be leaving Carramar area by 10pm

Watch out for cow/roos
Watch out for cow/roos driving at night saw heaps from overlander through the exxy....from about 12am-5am saw about 500 roos!

Couple of years
ago we got to Canarvon roadhouse and the bloke behind the counter told us to be careful on the way up. I told him that we had probably seen the worst of it..........what a fool I was.
When we turned off the highway and onto the Exxy road the first thing we saw was a 80 series with it,s roo bar nearly dragging on the ground. Then I was reduced to 2nd gear just above idle and the roos were hitting us. Then we saw the culperate that caused the 80 s headache, a small cow dead in the middle of the road and the full herd having a wake in the middle of the road and they were not budging.
We got to the turn off at 2am and got into Exxy at around 8am, so will be doing it different this year.

Heading up on the 10th,will leave early 3 in the morning sleep over at the turn of into exy , rock up on the 11th will hang around the park the first day and hit it on the 12th

Wake ya up
Why are ya sleepin there Paul, if ya keep goin you will be in Exy around 6;00 - 6;30pm unless ya not booked in till tuesday. Do ya want us to wake ya up on the way through, we will be at the turn off around 4 - 4;30pm. Let us know if ya leavin a little later & we will hook up with ya. Rob
