arrived back in Carnarvon yesterday after 4 days catching up with the family in Exxie,only got out fishing seriously the one time with little to show for effort.
Caught up with Adam and made a few plans for when he's down here for Carnarfin in 3 weeks time.Sorry I didn't have time to get round to meeting other members.
Took the grandies and the women out for a bit of a fish in front of the marina on Tuesday afternoon.Caught a few undersize cod,nor west snapper and lost lots of hooks to snags,weed and unknown objects.Bit of a relaxing time was had by all.Got serious on Wednesday morning,tried heaps of spots due west of the cape resulting in mobs of trigger fish,a few charlie courts,a reasonable golden trevally[released]an average spanglie the only fish to come home with us.Compared to recent results from trips down here it was very disappointing but thats fishing,you cannot have it all your own way all of the time.
Hope the crew have better results in the comp.

I leave sunday to arrive in exxy monday, staying at Lighthouse till 15th, then onto Coral Bay, Dehnam, and Kalbarri for two more weeks!!
Looking forward to catching up with some of you guys, i will have internet but Optus coverage for phone, apparently non-existant in Exxy..
Leave some fish for the Yakka!!!!
