Don't know where you are but there are heaps around Busselton. Lately we have seen at least half a dozen every time we go out.

Saw a mother and calf in 10m off dawesville when I was diving the other day.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

3=4k's NW of Rotto
Katman, I've never failed to see multiple sightings of whales by hanging around 3-4 k's off the NW end of Rotto. The Island acts as a natural detour sign for any that approach the island east of that location, large numbers are then forced turn west to go around the west end.

Thanks for the heads up mate
Got out to West End around 9am and saw a heap of whales coming through
Scored some brownie points with the missus and that always comes in handy when its time to spend more on the boat, ha ha

No worries
We went out on Sunday and seen a heap. Definitely the place to go for a good show. I've been tracking the yearly reports of killer whale sightings (we were lucky enough to have an encounter with them a few years back in that same area) and early September seems to be the time to try your luck for them.
