where to fish

I have had some luck fishing from the kayak around Augusta and Busselton from my small Ocean Kayak, scoring some squid, salmon trout, whiting and snook. I am trying to plan a trip somewhere in the South West but i need some spots that will produce some bigger fish (sambo, snapper etc.). I need to try to get an idea of the depth that these fish can be caught, the distance offshore, the time of day and the closest town to the spot. I also need to upgrade my kayak and was thinking of a Hobie, any advice on which one for rough ocean conditions will be appreciated.

Bought the Hobie Outback for
Bought the Hobie Outback for Christmas and it's really stable, 4 rod holders, heaps of storage compartments and one just infront of you that has inserts for all your tackle. If you're travelling longer distances upgrade to the Turbo Fins which will increase your speed and you can maintain the same speed at a lower amount of pedals (compared to the normal mirage drive) . Easy to stand up in and can take 181kgs of gear so you should be right with that.
