White Hills/Preston beach report
Well for those of you who fish south of Mandurah. Headed down to White Hills Friday arvo 1 to avoid the heat 2 to wet a line 3 just to kick back and relax before heading O/S. The beach is a piece of cake to drive on, nice and wide most spots. A lot of reef on various areas partly cover by sand as happens most summers. Picked out a spot I hadn't tryed before, went for a snorkel along the reef for a look see. A fair variety of fish to see. Than it was time to crack a beer & rig up, bit of burl sent out to start a hot little session on Hezza's, Tarwhine and the most Skippy I've caught of the beach ever, nothing huge but a couple getting upto 30cm's, kept a few for a feed and some Hezza's for bait. Just on sunset true to tailor form I landed a 35cm model and me son got one half hour later about the same size, nothing else for the night so relax and a kip on thebeach before a early rise. The next morning saw a very low tide so a bit more burl and a couple of hours more fishing with more Hezza's and Skippy. Time to pack up and head home. The weather was awesome and thebatteries are re-charged.
To all Fisho's and their families: A Happy New Year.
See you all on the flip side.
