White Point

Hi,
Looking to find out if anyone knows the current status of access to white point? I haven't been down there in a few years and the last report I'd heard is that it had been closed again due to idiots leaving rubbish and doing the wrong thing again.
Hoping to head down for a night or so in a couple weeks.

hey mate went down there over Easter week end for a drive.
was a 2 large groups staying there hopefully they did the right thing.
Last thing everybody needs is more places locked up due to the minority doing dumb shit.

Many years ago you could get in at the Emu Springs end of the beach through Dunnetts farm but some wankers shot up his cattle and he shut the gate. You could access the whole length of the beach right past White Point and for miles back towards Augusta.
Absolute shame because there is some of the best beach fishing in WA closed off due to one or two rotten eggs spoiling it for the rest.

I've been down that way a few times over the last 5 years or so and it's an awesome bit of country. With some awesome beach fishing!
You really have to wonder what goes through the head of some people that they do stupid things like that and stuff it for everyone. It's not really that hard to go somewhere, be respectful and clean up the rubbish you take with you to leave the place as it was. But there always seem to be those people.....

Yep , if you want to keep your belief in your fellow man , dont take up fishing , I think I am actually getting grumpier
with age just because of these sort of things, If you give people a inch they take............... type of thing.
Its one of the main reasons I bought the 2 quads , we just drive up along that beach Carnarvonites talking about , along
with many others in the state , just to get away from people , and bypass the bullsh..t.
How hard is it to respect others , there property and the enviroment without stuffing it up for everyone? ,............ too hard apparently!
