Wilbinga

Just wondering if you are still allowed to camp at Wilbinga? Did a bit of googling and can't find anything recent. Seems you could 12 months ago but apparently the place gets trashed so wouldn't be surprised if it has been banned there. Just looking at a quick getaway next weekend and looking for somewhere my daughter can sleep in a tent while I have a fish nearby

Legal smegal
Think I read somewhere theres no legal free camping just about anywhere on the west coast , wilbinga included
however , I didnt admit this and are on drugs and totally drunk therefor legally comprimised, but if you let the legal bit stop you ,
you are in for a lean time camping and fishing in Wa.
I do respect the envoiroment, and other peoples lands , but see no harm camping on a lonely beach far from priying eyes,
we leave nothing behind , and usually cart out more rubbish than we take in.
This I willl comtinue to do with my girls , till they put me in a box, or jail , whichever comes first!
Just a opinion , I will leave it to you.

definitely with Quadfisher
definitely with Quadfisher there. Ive only fished Wilbinga with Sherbs before and always cart out more than we take in. Did a couple of clean up days up there with him in less than favourable conditions. It's the majority of people up there that compromise our freedom in the dunes unfortunately.

Cool. Cheers guys. I like
Cool. Cheers guys. I like your thinking. If the missus lets me I'll probably head up there for a night. It annoys me having to pick up other peoples rubbish (because people should show a bit more sense and respect), but if it helps keep these places open, I'm more than happy to do it. Any idea what the weed situation is like up there? I've never been in there so wouldn't know what its like.

Camping
Camping is not permitted, BUT if you are fishing i.e. with a line in the water and your kids are having a snooze, thats OK. I am the Shire Ranger for the area.
