had one on an 82' Swiftcraft Dominator, worked fine. yhe hardest part wityh the older glass boats is fitting the winch to the coaming--they are not wide and flat like ally boats, you need to make some sort of bracket. most blokes just get an ally bracket fabbed up to run it inside the coaming. Plenty of info if you do a search.
