I've lost a bunch of handles and found a bunch over the years so I'm probably about even now. I had to use a socket set to winch the boat up one time.
We eventually drilled a hole through the handle and the gear nut and it's now held on with a bolt and nut.
If we ever need to use one of the other 2 gears we can just undo the bolt to move the handle. On metro ramps we drive the boat on and only need to winch up the last couple of feet, so we don't normally change gears.

Drill and pin
I have drilled a hole through the handle and pinned the handle on, no chance of losing it

Find them all the
Time. Must be the most lost item on boat. Split pin as mentioned above best idea. Or trailer pin

Can’t pin it if you have a 2
Can’t pin it if you have a 2 or 3 speed winch

Seems no one on FW lost this,
Seems no one on FW lost this, if any one wants it, let me know and it's yours.
Pick up Warnbro.
The actual handle part that you grab onto is plastic and I'd guess has been run over by a car as its cracked.
