Wind direction all over the place tonight,

Really want to take me cousin out snapper fishing at stragglers tonight and try and get him onto some pinkies . Acording to tides for fishing the conditions for a good bight are quite high. My only concern is the wind direction seems different on most of the sights and seems to be changing constantly during the night making it impossible to keep the boat and lines in the right area. Super frustrating

bloody wind your not wrong mind you the wind is well down only about 6-9 kn around top of tide we going out heading off about lunchtime to catch the wind drop going hit up ffb and look for some nice lil spots hav a play around and mark our spots for anchorage, good luck to you at stragglers we be inbetween islands maybe abit deeper

Yep feeling your pain. Been planning an overnighter for tonight all week and now they're forecasting thunderstorms as well as the wind picking up after midnight. Have to wait and see but still pretty keen to get out..

Come to monkey mia the wind is very consistent at the moment... its blowing 55 knts from the north (never good at monkey mia). The only variation is whether it is accompanied by pelting rain or not...

Same, I gave it a miss due to forecast thunderstorms. With hindsight in mind, I wish I had of gone coz it seems the weather wasn't too bad in the end.
