Woodmans point

Hi Guys and girls, was wondering if anyone has been down to the ammo jetty of late?, also is there still the problem of people breaking into cars down there? also would it be worth throwing out a bigger bait during the day?, heading down to perth for 3 weeks today and wanted to get some bait(scalies, squid etc)  to bring back north with me, sorry for all the questions but any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers Yewie

I was at the point (not the jetty) on Sat. Very quiet there. Some bait fish around hitting the surface and crabs stealing bait, but that’s about it. And yes, still not the best place to leave the car there at night, mainly on the jetty car park.

i dont think there is much that actually would improve the break-in rate at that place.

we just won the build on the new woodmans point surf lifesaving and rec centre, and i told my contracts administrator to employ full time after hours security on the site.

But I thought there was talk about putting them up there, just to scare the mongrels away. Last time about 4yrs ago we were up there with some friends, visiting from East. Was dumb as, because out of the 3 cars, including their hire one all three was smashed. Just fn vandalism as nothing was stolen. But their insurance has a $500 cap on it, so it cost them heaps.

I would love to catch the varmint, and shove a tube of Finalgon or Deepheat up their rectums. Trust me, they will think long and hard about doing that again.
