work machinery question

I need a new plate compactor for when I am laying turf, I have two in mind butam looking to see if anyone has used the cheaper model. The first is a Cromelins 82 kg for about $1650 with a robin subaru engine , the other is from Blue Diamond Machinery its an 80kg compactor with a Honda engine for $790. Dollars are not an issue, has anybody used the Honda engine model?

With a price split like that the reasons should be a bit clear.

I'm guessing the Chromelins comes with a C cup blond. Perhaps it lasts twice as long as the Blue Diamond, or perhaps it is twice as good at compacting. Will watch posts with interest. Good luck on purchase.

A new radiator for my navara has made the decision easy, nissan radiator $875  ,aftermarket  one $1300 wtf.

I had one ordered from a local parts dealer for $350 for my make and model , got it home and its 50 mm too big, rang them back and the service was very poor. They rang around and told me that none were available in Aus and that they were all ex Japan 3-4 weeks.

While I was waiting on them I rang a mobile repair guy who got me to measure my old one and send him photos, he is going to deliver one to me in the morning ( funny I thought there were none in Australia)

It seems to be that the bigger all these firms get the worst the service.Hopefully tomorrow will see me with the correct size radiator.

After being stuffed around yesterday with the wrong radiator and other crap Ken from WA Mobile Radiators 1800666006 delivered the correct radiator to me this morning.

Great bloke if you have a radiator problem.
