Worst monday morning in a long time :(

"Today you pass my brother, but we wont ever forget you!"
It's amazing the impact one dog can have on a family's life. Ziggy was an incredible dog, and im not just saying that because he was my own. He had energy, excitement and happiness that you had to see to believe. He could jump over 3m, climb a grated fence and balance on your shoulder like a parrot as you walked around the house casually. Everyday it seemed his remarkablity, happiness and energy would improve! Any human being would be envious of his chemical makeup; he was just always so 'stoked' to be within anyones company or just to bolt around a park. He was the talk of many conversations in our household, he was our entertainment, he was an acrobat, he was loyal and he was my brother ♥
Unfortunatley early this morning Ziggy's life was cut short by a freak accident when a van ran him over, turning a blind corner :( Too young, too healthy, too important to go!

Sorry to hear mate
We all know they are going to go sooner than us but always sadness and grief. We have 3 dogs, and one is short in the legs, and likely to drop off soon. That day will not be a good day for sure, even though we know and expect it.

Sorry
Sorry to hear mate, I lost my 2 year old early this year due to illness. I thought i won't get another dog for a while cause it hurt so much.
Then a friend put a puppy in my hands soon after and i couldn't give him back, Iv'e alway's had a dog and was lost without one . I feel for you bro, you just don't realize how attached you get and how much they become part of your family.

Tragic news mate
My thoughts go out to you. We are as passionate about our dog. The kids move on and have families of their own and the dog takes their place in our home. I thought I had lost him at the s-bend once and I didn't know how I was going to tell the missus. Fortunatly I found him.
We always say we will never have another dog after such a loss. My advice to you is to go an find another as soon as you can.

oh mate. that's sad news indeed.
it's unbelievable how much a dog brings to your life for so little.
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

So sorry to hear of Ziggy's passing. Dogs are just the best critters - they love their family unconditionally and completely. They don't stay cross at you for long. I'm going to need at least a week off work when the time comes for my little toy poodle - I can't comprehend my life without her!
I feel your pain, and hope you can one day soon, just remember and rejoice in all the positives about Ziggy, and let the sadness of his death become a blur. Be happy that he became part of your life, not so sad that he's gone.
Thoughts are with you.

underate the importance of a loved pet (dog), and the impact they can have for some. I certainly don't, I have two at the moment who are basically my children :) - sad to hear mate RIP Ziggy.

Geez mate I'm sorry to hear
Geez mate I'm sorry to hear it. You don't realize how attached you get to the little buggers until you lose them. I'm sad for you buddy, tough day. We lost one of ours after spending $14,000 on chemo for him that was only a 50/50 chance of working, little bugger was worth every cent. Taking him to the vet to be put down was the single hardest thing I've ever had to do and enough to make the hardest of blokes shed a tear.
Feeling for you mate.

Terrible loss
I had to write and say very sorry to hear about your loss..We put our fifteen year old staffy down in the bathroom after she had a stroke. My wife is a vet so it made it both harder and easier but still very personal. My absolute condolenses for you and your family.
Wherever you go, there you are
