Coles sells andriod tablets for $70 (ish)
cheap i know, but might be the best choice for playing with on a boat.
(incase of splash or loss overboard)
movies and apps, and reading books not for a boat. have a jetski....

if the tablet has a gps function (which mine does) by using
the navionics app it turns it into a nice cheap chart plotter :)

what brand and model do you have might be worth a look
personally I use a cheap samsung galaxy 2, dick smiths was clearing them out cheap for the new model (think $150)
I haven't checked out the coles ones, but will next time i'm there.. good cheap xmas pressie for rellies kids
