O K , with xmas coming up fast what are your plans , going away fishing , just lazing around the house or have a fishing fix planned....... and as far as pressies go what are you all hoping for whether it be fishing related or some other sort of new gadget or toy

We are closing the THYME OUT
We are closing the THYME OUT CAFE for the 4 days but i still got to work on the monday but if all goes to plan we will be out fishing for 1 if not 2 days (one can only hope) and might even have a bit of a dive. as far as presents goes, a new 4x4 (not likely) not really wanting anything , just a couple of days off to relax with the family

heading to esperance for a couple of day between xmas/new years then back to work for a few days over the PH's then off to exmouth on the 6th of jan for a couple weeks R&R.

Heading down to Buno for xmas. Dragging the boat down, so might get a fish in off Bunbury or catch a feed of crabs at Mandurah on the way home. Then off to Walpole albany for a couple of weeks.

will squeeze a few barra trips in between now and the end of the year, then i am off to sunny queensland as well as New cal popping for a week before the missus joins me and we spend another week in an over water bungalow with no kids, then back to queensland for another couple of weeks. 6 weeks of R and R! cant wait.............

We're off to Leeman
next Sunday 13th, do a bit of cleaning up (van gets sooo dusty) get the cray pots out ready to put in hopefully the weather is fine after the 15th Dec, fishing and relaxing until the 24th December back to Perth for Xmas lunch then Boxing Day back up to Leeman till we get sick of doing fishing or it gets to hot to do anything. Like a few of you Oz lotto is $40 million this Tuesday, don't mind sharing, $10 million will do us, my Xmas present to old fart a cordless drill and hopefully better health for 2010, me win lotto so we can relocate to Carnarvon and buy my F250 7litre turbo diesel, with a fifth wheeler, dreaming of course of winning lotto. Bali for Christmas until
Bali for Christmas until 27th Dec. Then down to Busselton for new years. Then onward to Bremer Bay on 4th Jan till 12th Jan. Might drop into Albany for a few days on the way back to Busselton/Perth.

No real plan as yet
Off from Dec 18 to Jan 10th. First thing I need is a good rest. Plans could include a few days around Dongara, maybe even head to Kalbarri area, or I may get conned into heading south. We are content to play at as it happens so to speak this year. If that means sitting around the pool for a few weeks here so be it.
Xmas proper starts at our place in a couple of weeks with a few of the old buggers from here getting together for my prized standing rack of beef and lots of wine.
I am still out to lunch so to speak as far as my prime Xmas pressie goes... I am looking at a reel of some description I think. Something for the beach that comes with a couple of spools so I can switch to lighter/heavier/lighter as the need arises and not have the need to carry a million rods with me when I go.

Christmas day in Perth in
Christmas day in Perth in the morning and down to Mandurah in the arvo.. Then off to Bussleton on boxing day till the 3rd. Hopefully lots of fishing for kgs, squid, and out further if the conditions are good for whatever is down there. Also snorkling for crabs should be fun. Getting all new snorkling gear for christmas, new dive light, Saragosa 18000 with a Monster Mesh rod to match. Can't wait to use the pressies!

its good to get away without the kids even if it is for only a couple of nights.or in your case a few weeks. Go and enjoy it while you can. hope to see plenty of pics from your adventures. the fishing ones that is. not the private times with your wife

Staying up in Exxy this year and doing some big blue fishing hopefully, then Coral Bay for new years. Should be a good one, just hope the big fish are hungry, has been a while since I wet a line locally.
