Yamaha 225 new powerhead required

Put a conrod thru bottom of engine the other day which was slightly disappointing to say the least.

Anyone know of a good dealer/trader where i can a replacement powerhead?

Its a F225hp 2004 four stroke.

Cheers for your help in advance.

Hours ?

therock,

Curious as to how many hours on the motor, and also do you have any idea what caused it to let go ?

The reason I'm interested is that that I'm also running a 2004 model F225.....................

Cheers

Narrowed it down to bolt

Narrowed it down to bolt fatigue on big end bearing.
Shear the conrod and punched a perfect hole in sump.

This was first trip after rebuilding boat and swapping from IO to OB.

Jeesus, that's bad news !

Did you rebuild yourself ? or qualified mechanic ? dealer ?

I can only assume this will not be cheap and you are feeling the pain ! Hope you have better luck.
