I bought a 30HWL for my old tinny 15 years ago for $49 less than you are currently asking for them! I sold the boat it was on about 7 years ago, but I've got to say that in the time that I had it, the motor did all (and more) that I could have ever asked from it.

mungus - it's a bit unfair
mungus - it's a bit unfair comparing two prices 15 years apart. You do understand the concept of inflation right? Even if you could get that exact same model back in 2001 for as you say $3441, that amount in todays dollars after average inflation of 2.7% would be closer to paying $4,950!
