Yanchep lagoon

Thinking of going yanchep tonight, has anyone been there recently, if so had much success? I haven't really fished there before. Was thinking of trying around the groyne or just south of it.
Would it be worth chucking some lures out or just stick to bait?

I usually flick lures when soaking a bait. cracked my biggest tailor there on a richter (72cm)
Bait usually produces tailor and soapies..was there Sat night and nothing but whiting.
