Any crayfish out there?

Have been away for 2 weeks so just wanting to see if there are many crays off Hillarys & what depth should I be dropping the pots? Only in my 1st season so any assistance would be appreciated

It's been a few weeks since we got back from our annual trip to Carnarvon as usual we got amongst the fish after the long trek out to the islands, plenty of Pinks's , mackies & baldies. The good thing was my young bloke was able to come on his 1st northern trip & has only just wiped the smile off his face. The largest mackie would have gone somewhere around the 25-30kg mark?

Can't wait for next year, Cheers!

Hi kelvin, Weve been doing a bit of diving and found alot of undersized crays everywhere from 8m to 16m deep out of hillarys. Tried further south out from Scarborough and found a few bigger ones round 10 - 15m deep. Apparently further north is doing alot better for bigger crays. Got plenty out off rotto in similar depths but it's afair way to go for pots. All this is diving so not sure what's happening with pots but hope it helps
