Was taken fishing the holes

Was taken fishing the holes (the size of an average back yard swimming pool) in amongst the razor sharp impregnable clusters of reef and bomboras around the fringing reef, anchored up current and postioning the boat on the edge. The ground you fish into is clear of any major structure, and believe me, it needs to be! The depth is about 5-7m and the water is crystal clear. I started by chopping up a few pillies and tossing them into the blue hole. I was using a Jigging Master PS400, Shimano Stella 20000 loaded with 37kg braid and 60kg fluorocarbon leader(no FC=no bites), 12/0 Mustad Hoodlum hook and no weight. I had set the drag at about 14kg and flicked a pillie into the hole. It was taken within seconds and line was dragged from the reel in short bursts while I frantically tried to gain control. This 8kg green Jobfish was soon boat side for a couple of pics. Part of a hectic session on red bass, long nose sweetlip, jobfish ect....
