Andy's Black - Feels like forever ago
Submitted by Adam Gallash on Wed, 2011-06-15 11:44
Need a new image up on the latest image. I really can't believe it but I've only managed 1 black and 1 sail out of the new boat (dropped 3) in quite a few months of having it and having a fair bit of time off to chase them. It's definitely been the worst season in the 5 that I've been here. Ahh well, hopefully things will change soon and the weather will play ball as well.

2009- 30 blacks and 5 sails
2009- 30 blacks and 5 sails landed
2011- 5 blacks and 1 sail landed. I reckon I've done more miles this year too. The good thing about this year is we have only lost 1 billfish that we hooked so we did make the most of the strikes.

that does feel like forever ago.... its a credit to you guys who perserver chasing these guys! the day and a half we spent during the comp for not one raise was painful! Bonus watching Lucky go about his work tho and describing the little different things to look for / do.....
the added plus i suppose is once you've got the big guy in the spread all them hours spent for nothing are quickly forgotten!
i want some underwater footage next yr addy so we better get one bro! got a new HD contour camera to burrn some fillum!

Team effort that one.....and it didn't take alot of driving time Poddy. Still brings a smile to my face, and well, Andy, you just can't shut him up about it.
