Yeh...not the smoothest reel but a bloody tough one. I got one, used it for bottom smashing and jigging. Its a 8-15kg class reel. I run 24kg on mine and its modified to shit. Shorter pinion, sealed bearings, bearing spacer, carbon fibre drag washer and extra sping washers.
Oh can be blinged up with whatever handle you want as well.
Nicson - put some line on that ABU I gave ya and practice... It aint hard (especially with the abu)...
I have always used overheads for landbased stuff - Calcutta's, old Abu's and a TSM-IV Speedmaster... Issue is getting a good rod to suit - particularly for beach
haha, yeh i want to,but the abu is broken i think = [.cause it could normally wind in properly.but i could back wind it self anytime.so it means its like a spinning reel without putiing the lock thing on.so i could wind backward with it .lol
Ive just got back from using the reel all weekend caught macks and reef fish on it up in headland. Got pulled all over the place by a great chinaman that took 5 great runs and the reel loved it. Smooth as silk if you ask me. Iv got an mxl as well and cant fault either.

That means the anti-reverse
That means the anti-reverse is gone. I suggest you take it to your local shop and get it sorted otherwise it'll become a major pain in the bird's bum.
