Mate I never have had to

Wed, 2009-04-15 14:34

Mate I never have had to fill her right up.

Mostly sits around 3/4 on both tanks.

As a rule I put $250 in her each trip. When I work it out back into Km it runs at 1 lt per 1/2 km running two motors over a full trip.

Most trip are around 120km round trip  about 1 hour at speed each way. Cruses at 25 30 knots easy at about 3600rpm-4200rpm. Max speed mid to high 40's but shit dont look down at the fuel meter at speed. I did once and it was on 99 lts per hour and thats only one donk doing 47 knots.

Great boat for our conditions however bit big to tow long distance I would think.

They hate travelling directly into a sea but what boats dont. If you cant get on top of  waves the water buids up between the two keels and then pushes it back out the front and over the hard top.

But this is my fourth boat and I am very happy with her.

nice tub there

but they do cost big $ when you run them hard

running a 350 chev at high speeds costs enough,
