Aint too sure exactly about tongue weight, the CoG is way way back, so it aint too bad. Had it since 2007, F250 (7.2 Diesel) pulls it along just fine....though it thinks friggin diesel is 2c a litre when doing it though :)
Hi Paul, yep, still is for sale, though pulled it though from the boatyard, hoping it doesn't sell. If i can manage till May next year, it comes off the market, though gotta work my arse off to keep it till then.....friggin woman (read between the lines )
Its me selling it, not the boat yard, they are just doing the advertising. I want $125,000, have dropped it from $145,000 to $136,000, now down to $125,000 and aint going 1 cent less.
I have a haines 635 challanger awsome boat would think yours would be a great sea boat ,how do you find the twins a lot of weight on the back would get up and buggy for sure.
Mate, the hole shot on this is awesome, can go from dead still to over 40 knots in the blink of an eye. Luv the twins, its a dog on one motor though. Max speed during prop tests was 51 knots, bugga all fuel on board though and just me and boat mechanic. Normally carries 500 Lts fuel plus 30 of water.
Typical day for me is 4 guys, 8 dive cylinders and all the associated crap, and nice calm day can spank along at 44 - 46 knots.
Its magic in the rough, VERY dry boat, and i HATE (!!!!) getting wet unless under the water, not on top.
I luv it, its a great boat and as I say, i hope i can somehow sort the crap out and get through till May and no one has bought it. Sounds dumb but real long story.
