Bream fun
after a morning of uni work i decided it was time for an arvo fish, soon after i had my head in the rocks looking for a bit of live bait. After gathering a bit of experimental live bait i had my line in the water and was pulling out my first bream, this made me happy but more happiness was still to come. After catching a few more average sized bream i hooked one that didnt feel like any of the ones before and after a short fight i had this beauty of a bream at my feet measuring in at 40cm, after a few photos i realeased it and continued fishing only to catch another beauty 38cm. I caught a total of 5 black bream and the arvos resulted in my blackys personal best. I'm happy to see that a healthy/ good sized bream are able to be caught in perth metro.

i had the same idea after uni, but missed the turnoff due to traffic so headed home.

Sounds like a great little bream session. They are hard to beat, especially when good sized bream like that are around.

As a kid i caught heaps next to the drain at the high school,,also that river out wonnerup way on the right hand side driving out (wonnerup estuary?)
