Hi Deefa, I dont know the bloke who caught it just the bloke who sent me the pics. Maybe I caould claim a mate of a mate who knew a bloke or something like that.

Bloody big fish but.

Who knows what they plan to do with it. Probably sounded like a good idea to keep it at the time

i think its off the australian page from the texas shark fishing website?

Its interesting how the americans on that site use massive game reels to catch similar fish to what the south africans use fairly standard overheads for.

i think its off the site had a look at it the other day i was thinking the same thing about the americans and the africans but the americans dont seem to use braid only mono when the south africans use braid.

that is a nice fish great catch in the brisbane river

dont think the braid is a big advantage exept line capacity. reckon its massive overkill some of the gear they use on that site.

And just recently ive heard there have been quite a few sighting of bull sharks in the Collie river.... They better not be that big!
