Bunno Salmon

Fish'n off Bunbury yesterday I got this Salmon in 28 metres, another couple friends from Collie were fishing close by and they bagged out on Salmon. We were all bottom bouncing when these Salmon were caught. Has anyone caught Salmon in these or deeper depths? It just seemed strange to get them in 28 metres.

2 years ago at Easter, caught heaps bottom bouncing in 34m off of Busselton. Getting double headers, they were running to the surface and fighting on top. Was great fun.
Like you, I was suprised to pick them up in that depth of water.

With all this warm weather
With all this warm weather we're having, perhaps they find it cooler down deep :p
So maybe all the schools are there, they're just going submarine stealth style up to rotto.

Dan1 had wall to wall Salmon
Dan1 had wall to wall Salmon on the sounder 15 nm n/w of Bunno on Tuesday. They caught them bottom Bouncing as well as on jigs and plastics.

G'Day BJ, Geez I had huge mass's show up on the sounder and I thought they were baitballs but now I'm thinking they might have been Salmon. Next time I'll drop a mulie down when I see a large mass.
