Fifty klms south of gero. we sussed out what we needed from gero, left one guy in the car and changed out bearings and axle.

Out there people seem so different. Had various people stop to see if we were ok and a local farmer even brought us a couple of beers.

took us 45 minutes to find the rim but whislt looking for it we found 2 bottles of unopened vodka.

not much fun, had that happen 100k north of carnarvon , on the side of the road for nearly 10 hours and only two people stopped to see if they could help and 1 was mr galash. hope you got the rest of the way without any dramas

Coming back down from Exmouth last week spotted a 21foot Quintrex? parked by the side of the road minus both left hand side wheels and no vehicle in sight.
Why not take a wheel off the other side ,put it on the left side and limp in to town instead of leaving everything on the side of the road miles from anywhere.
