there is a difference between the chinaman fish and chinaman cod. The one I just posted is a chinaman fish and it is the species referred to regarding ciguatera poisoning. It's only a problem on the east coast. In WA they are safe to eat. ----------------- Jay Burgess

Nice fish Jay! One im yet to catch. What sort of set up wear you using....or do they just take the usal bottom rig?Keep it tight, reeeeeeel tight!
I was using my Stella 8000 setup with a paternoster style rig and a strip bait. I jigged for a while but didn't have any luck. Great eating ----------------- Jay Burgess
