Looks like a fairly worked over popper there Ian. I would also say from the look of the front treble/ring that you didn't skimp on the hardware, the fish just had other ideas.

Yeah, it's a sad looking

Yeah, it's a sad looking lure now. Owner ST66s and Owner split rings on both eyelets. Fish was a big longtail that turned into a bigger whaler halfway back to the boat. You can see the little bullet holes from the tuna's teeth around the midsection, with the bigger gouges from the shark's choppers.
