we used to catch heaps of them up Karumba way when we were kids mate, good fun.  We got a few a fair bit bigger than that and from memory tey go pretty hard

yeh we were pretty surprised how hard it went we were calling it for some thing alot bigger. Yeh they get around the 5-600 i think.

yeah they do, we used to find them schooling up between the sand bars around the mouth of the noman river in karumba, and when i was 12 they felt like bloody big fish.

Nice javelin fish Andy. You can see where they get the grunter nickname from when you pull one out of the water.

Brad, they get some pretty big specimens up around Karumba dont they?
