what's the name of this species brad?
I've seen a few that look very similar over 50kg
not one hundred percent sure mate, it is one of those species you see on the reef in bigger sizes and in the creeks when they are smaller. So many species around, flowery, polkadot, estuary, rock, heaps. Jay will probably know

The one on the right looks like a malabar grouper. One on the left looks like an estuary but doesn't have the orange dots.

Yeah Adams right, they're both malabar.
Brown spotted estuary cod or greasey cod on right, one on left looks like a juvenile brown spotted estuary cod. don't think in wa is malabar cod?
