A couple of nice Dhufish

Headed out for an evening night fish with my son inlaw from Dawesville. 1st bait 1st cast and fishing no more than 300 metres off the beach I got a good run. After reasonable fight line rubbing through weed and reef up comes a 74cm Dhufish Yehar wasn't expecting that. We were targeting Mulloway possibly and small fish. We fished on into the dark and around 10.00pm my son inlaw Mitch got a real good run and same story running through weed and reef but he fought it ever so carefully and eventually a monster appeared. 94cm and 14.5kgs. Hell yeah what an accomplishment from in close. We could go home now.

Awesome
Stunning fish, 14.5kg looks like a horse when they hit the surface, great inshore catch.

Excellent fish
Good work getting them so close to shore. I'd keep that spot a closely guarded secret ha ha.
