Even the cats are getting sick of eating them

Went out in some pretty nice conditions today to do a deep dive first up and ended up on some new ground in 45m. There were crays everywhere but they were all berried - have some gopro footage to edit but I think I looped 13 alone for only 1 keeper. Saw an awesome school of dhuis mostly little ones but a couple that were size, a few pinkies and a couple of sambos. Defiantly a place we will return to. Bagged these crays for the day though, nice way to end the year.

What air mix are you using
What air mix are you using and what sort of bottom time are you getting.

we just had a standard air
we just had a standard air mix today and got about 28 min total dive time so prob looking at 12 min bottom time - we tend to nudge the limits a bit though (well nudge / exceed) so had a couple of fairly long stops on the way back up. Going to go the nitrox mix next time out at that depth though. Didnt plan on diving that deep on the way out but the weather was so good I wanted to search for some new turf in the 30's and when the sounder lit up I couldnt resist.

Result
Top result. Awesome stuff Tim. I'm looking forward to some 30m+ dives for the roaches. I dive 30-40m regularly over here, funny how the crystal clear water of the pacific builds your confidence.
