I took a photo on the weekend

Tue, 2011-05-17 11:08

I took a photo on the weekend where the water was up to the bottom of the timbers, but not over them (both when we left and got back) but pales in comparison to that one! Last time I saw it up to the timbers was partially due to storm surge though.

Were you using a polariser on the camera? Those clouds look pretty contrasty.

down at Woodies must be under water too.  Isn't it fantastic, rain at last and the weather people are predicting a thunder storm after lunch, its 1.05pm as I type this comment,  haven't heard any thunder yet.

 Woodmans Point was like that

Tue, 2011-05-17 14:27

Woodmans Point was like that yesterday, I was in water halfway up my calf walking out on the jetty.   I live just behind Riverton Bridge and the water it is right up on the flats next to the river.  Down side is that the Mosquitos will be in plaques from all the water that gets caught

was really high tide at burns rocks yesterday, higher than usual.

manage one snap of the sunset, but was carried away with the decent squid,28cm tube. Also a pod of dolphins hanging around at the back of burns rocks in 13-14m about 13 of them..

(picture taking on 3.0pix phone...)
