Glass Dhu

We got 3 dhuies all similar size in as many drops in absolute glass off conditions late Saturday arvo south of Rotto.
Dissaponting to see 4 or 5 boats out on five fathom bank and north channel at Garden Island with absolutley no lights on, I could just make them out with the industrial strip lit up behind them, and those are the ones I did see.. Came within 30m of one on the bank before I saw them. Sent a shiver down my spine thats for sure..

I did a race around Cockburn sound at night about 10 years back. Sailing along at 10 knots, not making a huge amount of noise (wonders of sailing) we came across a couple of blokes fishing. First we knew of them was when they shouted "holey f*ck"
Portable nav lights cost $30...simple really
