Glenn getting smoked

Glenn hooked up to an unstoppable that came out of the reef and sucked down his SP. Unfortunately there was nothing we could do and it busted him off.

Massive! Big arch in that rod. Atleast he got busted off, I got spooled on my first ever fishing charter trip. Didn't know what to do! A whole 300m of Bionic braid gone.


My reels screaming zzzzzzz.... awwww damn it, its another boat!

Nah mate it was definately a demersal species, stayed low in the rocks. We caught a glimpse and actually saw the fish nail the SP but couldn't identify it. If I had to speculate, possibly a horse trout or perhaps a massive bluebone.

Mate thats unlucky! I hate it when you see the fish hit the lure and then scurry's off with no stopping and just ping ya. It gives me the shits sometimes!
