This was the result of two hours for two fishos - we pulled the pick when we'd caught enough

Shy fish
What are the sargent bakers like to eat? I caught a couple on a charter
and they used them for bait!

Fish
G'day Rod
Thanks!
Fox fish and swallow tail mainly underneath Rod.
Seargeant Baker - Rod, these have more bones per square millimeter of flesh than ants per square meter of ant hill - so most wouldn't bother. Whilst the flesh is considered firm, it's also considered quite tasteless - which is why they make excellent bait.
Usually an indication you are on good ground.

So Everone Agrees LOL
Everyone agrees on the SBs (and thats not soft bodies :) ).
Yeah Brad - loevelly eating - they're hungry blighters and will take in a fair sized hook - I tend to use circles rather than J's. Yeah, I know - people like to set the hook, but circles, I find account for less 'gut takes' and more lips - so better on the fish for releasing. Less snags too. They're a solid bighter - and would be good on light tackle.

One of Our Best
Thanls Col, yeah sure was, we couldn't do anything wrong. I'd surveyed the structure we were on, and set up a drift along a ledge - 10 to 30 meters - so not too deep. As I mentioned, we were getting double headers, every drop.
