They often go pale
( for me at least) when first caught, then colour up again a few minutes later. Thats when I usually take a pic. Nice fat trout.

It came from a soft coral
It came from a soft coral patch in 55m. Double header with a good band. Did colour up a little but time is precious in a Comp so lucky I got that pick.

33 boats and just under 100 anglers mate. Was supposed to be yesterday but the weather forecast wasn’t looking too good so shifted to today.
Had to try and remember how to bottom fish.
