You can say the same for salmon, but people actually do eat it, just like trevally. My taste is different to yours just like yours I’d different to others. What taste crap to you might taste ok to others. It’s a fair size fish so plenty of meals coming from that. How many 10kg fish come swimming by you in the sound?if it is eaten I can not not see a problem.
Watched this same GT swimming around the pontoon near palm beach jetty a few weeks back...even had the thrill of swimming my 6 year old out to the pontoon with a pair of goggles to see it...the look in his eyes was worth $1M. This thing was swimming almost right up to us, very placid....would've been real easy for me to go home and get my speargun and nail it...but the look in a 6 year olds face and having the opportunity to experience such a thing convinced me to leave it alone.

looks like the one from the sound is doing the rounds. Should they stuff it and start a new (travelling lure idea ) photo opportunity .
