Nice fish, a few of us kayak boys went out to Penguin Island on Sunday to chase the bombie Tailor, nobody caught one,,i was using a chrome twisty until it got stuck in the reef,,i should be using these Richter plugs,,they look like a good piece of kit,,,
Is there a go to colour for these lures ? Apart from white.

You should be proud of a fish like that. Large Tailor on poppers in surf is something to get the adrenalin pumping that's for sure. Well done!

If you can find the lime green coloured one (I think Richter
call it Chartreuse), they are pretty good. But the white seems to work best for tailor.
