Hayley's first longtail tuna

Caught 4 this arvo during the glass off. It only lasted a few hours but it was enough time to sneak out and find a few schools, even though they took a little bit of driving and chasing initially. All were about 6kg.

let us know when you get some days off Jeffo and we'll go and have a crack at them. These went pretty hard on the cast metals and gave Hayley a hard time. Now she's "mastered" the tuna she wants a marlin of her own.

good work guys
turned out to be a nice day after a pretty blowy morning. we checked out the gulf and it was rough as guts in the morning, so we went out at tantabiddi and the wind swung about 1 hour later making a nice wet trip back in. managed to pull in a few good fish with a few trout, a coupla yellow tail emperors and a good sized jack. just enough to remind me what fish taste like.....

Yeah I thought of you in the morning when it was blowing and didn't think you'd be staying dry. Only got a little while out in the Gulf from about 2 to 5 but even we got wet coming home. If we get another good arvo I'll give you a call and we'll go out there.

cheers mate
yeah its looking pretty blowy. might be ok tomorrow, we will have to find somewhere nice enough to get the dinghy in the water. otherwise with the wind forecast we might just hit some beaches and reefs for some shorebased. about to go to bundegi - apparantly the queenies are creating some fun up there off the ramp.
