Looking from the front door you can see and now hear her coming - all blue sky above and just evil on the horizon. The gulf has just 'disappeared' into it.

First front just went thru, what an absolute fucking jaffer. I've been through plenty down Denmark way over the years, but that 15 minutes of thunder, lightening and rain was some of the best I've seen. Looks like its cleared now and were going into a drizzle pattern, but that was just mental!

Was that on the radio dodgy? That low lying part of Onslow around second and third avenue is very susceptible to flooding unfortunately.

7.35pm in K town and still not much yet. Pretty chilled so far really. Looks like Onslow and Exmouth might get a bit more but all good here. The billfish shootout was worse on the June long weekend.

edit - Picking up a bit now. 8.30 ish and rain but not toooo windy. Interesting to see the difference between legendre and Karratha airport wind speeds...20 knots difference so far. 50 knots vs 30 in town.
