Hey John, been flat out working at the moment in SA at a place called Moomba. Been fishing as much as I can on my days off. Last days off I went to quobba and fished mostly with crabs, did really well on spanglies and baldies, got a couple of good size pinkies too from a new spot. How have you been? I do keep an eye out for your reports
Eromanga has been touted as the town in Australia located the farthest from any ocean. However, this claim does not stand up to scrutiny. See Pole of inaccessibility for approximations of other locations in Australia that could also make such claims.
In Australia, the continental pole of inaccessibility is located either at 23.17°S 132.27°E or at 23°2′S 132°10′E, 920 km (570 mi) from the nearest coastline, approximately 161 km (100 miles) west-northwest of Alice Springs. The nearest town is Papunya, Northern Territory, about 30 km (19 mi) to the southwest of both locations.
