hard to get an idea of size. probably a hundred years or more of history in the marks on that wood.

Arbortech. I afectionately call it my chainsaw in a 9" grinder. Great for shaping timber freehand. Nice bit of wood. Oil/wax or varnish?

It is quite a big bowl its wider than the newspaper sheets opened out. It wasnt that hard to shape. it has 1 tin of clear satin on it, and here is another one, alot smaller and its not finished yet.
