Hey guys I'm new to this picture posting thing. I was trying to post this under the kids comp post.Hi everyone,
Took advantage of the nice weather yesterday and took the kids to Moore River with the Tinnie for some Bream. Was going to get some skippy out at three mile(thenks for the tip Uncle) but the winds changed our mind. My 7 year old daughter fished hard all morning insisting on baiting and casting herself. She lost a heap of my gear but had a ball even trying soft plastics and hardbodies. We caught and released over a dozen Bream with my daughter assuring us the big one was coming. After lunch we tried some snags and my daughter was screaming she had the big one. By the look of the rod I thought another rig sacraficed to the sunken logs of the Moore only to see her line rip through the water. The end result was a cracker of a Bream! i asked her if she wanted to release it and in the mouth of babes her response was " The reason I let the others go dad is so they can grow big like this one that I'm going to eat for dinner tonight with chips and salad. What are you having?" How could I say no?
Cheers
