This guy gave me some curry when we were fishing the KB with Challenger TAFE a couple of years ago. He became tea pretty quickly though.
He was caught on the Lemax Seagame when you can see balanced delicately on the side of the boat behind me

Nice baldy
I've always wanted to get to the Key Biscayne, but you would have to pick your days as it's a long run from the nearest ramp.
Did you guys catch anything else that day?

Wade - the weather was foul
Wade - the weather was foul mate, and it only got worse overnight and into the next day. I wrote an article on the trip for FWA if you're interested in reading up on how it went, can find it --> here <--.
Steve - didn't get a heap of variety there but the conditions would have had some impact on that, we were drifting so fast because the wind was cranking. Would have been nice to anchor and get some burley in the water.
This was the only baldie caught, lost count of the number of skippy around this size... plenty of double headers too which made for some fun, two kingies and some reefy junk fish and I reckon that was about it.

ledge pt best place to
ledge pt best place to launch for Key Biscane. Have thought about going there but it's resting on sand and the structure is ready to eat rigs. Probably worth fishing any ground you could find nearby as I reckon it probably creates a fairly healthy food chain for the area.
Love the West!
