Knobby point

Went for a 3 day trip to Knobby Point . We got out 2 of the 3 days it didn't take long for me to find some ground to fish. The first day we fished and dived we landed 2 Dhuies of about 6kg each, the second day of fishing we landed 2 Dhuies 8-10kg & a baldie.

nice pair of fish , great effort with the fishing. 2 days fishing out of 3 isnt too bad at all and getting a feed is even better

cant ask for much better than that:) what size boat do you have? swell big? Where did you launch from. Id be mega hapy with a catch like that. Well done!

I have a 5.5m plate ali !
I have a 5.5m plate ali ! Swell was 1.5-2m ! beach launch from Knobby Point camp spot. There are a few reefs & breakers to navigate around but once you are about 6NM off shore it's all blue water & good fishing.

What brand ally plate boat have you got? I'm looking for a medium size ally to handle beach launching conditions. What size motor have you got on the back? I'm looking at least a 90? feedback would be appreciated.
