Mangles Bay got smashed

Just a couple of the boats that washed up along Rockingham beach yesterday. There were plenty more and a couple even broke the mooring when it started to blow southerly which sent them drifting to the northern end of the sound, my guess they wouldve come ashore around the Henderson/Woodmans Point area last night some time

Looks like some serious
Looks like some serious growth on the hull of that yacht. Wonder if the owner maintained his mooring tackle any better.....
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Funny you say that because a bloke rocked up and proceeded to fill a plastic bag with mussels from the hull of the yacht haha!

One of the other boats that made it ashore had definitely made contact with other boats before it was beached as it had fresh gouge marks on the gunnels and on the outside of the cabin and also had some grapefruit size holes in the side of the hull and diesel was gushing out from the deck

north mole washdown
Me and the daughter went for a look at the north mole at 1230 on sunday
just as it really blew up!, Been in perth for 40 years and have never seen it that angry before.
It really was screaming , blowing the tops of waves off etc, think bom reported 64 knot winds at
rotto and swanbourne at that time. Just then the freo pilot boat heads out, the orange and blue one, not sure to where?
As it cleared the heads it spent more time underwater than above it!
Lets hope the blow on tuesday isnt quite as bad .

Club wont ensure boats left
Club wont ensure boats left in Mangles bay, but there has been heaps of other area's damaged. My Thomas craft was sold to a guy who has it on a mooring in Mangles bay. He has it there uninsured. Crazy stuff.

Heard that too... Sounds like it might be vandals as on the news the other night the owners had tied up their boats to shore and some low life cut all the mooring ropes during the night...

Sunday
Saw that boat Sunday arvo, after it was washed ashore. Was someone's pride and joy. Hull was spotless, like it had just been antifouled. Was a very tidy looking boat, shame to see it end up like that.
